I'll be sure to post more vacation shots but here's a sneak peek of Corrigan in his sunglasses & sunhat. He's been to the beach three times and he likes being in the water,but no so pleased with sand or being at the edge where the waves break!

Apparently I'm not the only one tired after a run. I wonder how long he'll stay this way? It is his "normal" bed time. Since he was showing sleepy signs, I did think ahead and put his nighttime diaper on before we went for our evening run. Betting pool opens now.

Peek-a-boo!

Now that crawling is old hat to Gremlin, he's moved on to pulling up on the furniture. His balance completely sucks and he doesn't quite understand his limits, but now when I'm sitting on the couch - my view is of this .... A little Gremlin standing up and peeking over the cushions at me!

Sweet Slumber

There is nothing more wonderful and precious than a sleeping Gremlin!

There's no nice way to say it, but when it comes to sleeping, Gremlin sucks! Every time I feel like we're turning a corner we end up back in a pattern of waking up frequently or waking up in the middle of the night and refusing to go back to sleep.

We have had some good nights recently, including last night where he briefly woke at 3:30 for a snack, and then slept til morning. Today he's also taken good naps (which are also a rarity). This afternoon he was obviously tired but refusing to lay down. I put him in his crib to play while I got the laundry and he was happily looking out the window and at his toys. Next thing I know, there's silence! I immediately rushed in to look thinking something horrible had happened only to see him crashed out sleeping!!

Ahhh, precious baby :)

He's got Babylegs!

I am a huge fan of Babylegs!

No, not the legs of little humans, but the leg warmers designed for wee ones. They come in all kinds of fun patterns and are so soft. We have quite a few pairs with my favorite being his black pirate ones seen at 1 week old and 6 months :)

Are you thinking that sounds crazy for a baby???

I was confused myself the first time I saw them, but after getting one pair I was hooked. They are so much easier than putting on pants and when he's wearing them, it's a breeze to change his diaper. Now that he's thinking of crawling ... ok maybe not true crawling but he does get on all fours and generally moves backwards ... I put them on to protect his poor knees from the floors. Best of all, in this weather I can put them on when he's in the cool air conditioning and just pull them off and stuff them in his diaper bag when we go outside.

Seriously, they are one of the best baby accessories ever. Not to mention he looks so adorable, like a Dr. Seuss character, in his cool Babylegs :) Actually when I look back, he's wearing them in a lot of pictures. We have several pairs, some solid colored, some stripes and some patterned. In the spirit of peace I will not post the picture of him in the rainbow striped ones that causes some discord at home. I will however say that he was ADORABLE in them!!

I should mention that his cool hat is a hand me down from Tato in Colorado. He'll outgrow it soon and I'll have to find another one for Fall.

Blue Gremlin

Here's Gremlin in a cute blue romper with sharks on it (he's finally into 9 month sizes!) and his blue beach hat that Grandma Susan brought back from Florida. I thought he looked too cute not to share!!
